NAYA SHRISTI- LOCAL TV MEDIA MINISTRY

BY GOD'S GRACE, THE LOCAL TV CABLE MEDIA MINISTRY "NAYA SHRISTI"means "NEW CREATION" IS GOING ON WELL SINCE 2008 JANUARY IN ASSOCIATION WITH LIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN.THIS IS A HALF AN HOUR GOSPEL PROGRAM MOSTLY CONSISTS OF GOSPEL MESSAGE, TESTIMONIES AND MUSIC VIDEOS AND BEING SHOWN IN GANGTOK (SIKKIM), DARJEELING, KERSEONG AND KALIMPONG. WE ARE REACHING OUT GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH TV TO EACH AND EVERY HOME OF HIMALAYAS.FAMILIES WHICH ARE CLOSED FOR THE GOSPEL, CAN HEAR THE GOOD NEWS THROUGH NAYA SHRISTI.PEOPLE ARE BEING SAVED AND BLESSED.

I recently had the opportunity to view the Videos of the lovely songs all of you had performed.The camera work and production was really very nice. The Video was worked out in such a way that it did not over ride the song or the music that was being played.The songs were great and it sure touches hearts. I sincerely hope the message went through to everyone.
The Gorkha song was great too. We could have one for the Lepchas too...Possible???
Panu this is Jeffry Hunzong Lepcha ...you would not remember me but i know you very well. It was way back during school days we met.
.i was really swept off my feet with the quality and effort behind the videos.

Why we need to fast? - Mathias Subba

1. Fasting is humbling ourselves before God. The Bible says: I humbled my soul with fasting (Ps.35:13).
2. Fasting is seeking God. The Bible says: And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes( Dan 9:3).
3. Fasting is an expression of sorrow. "Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him".(Dan 6:18)
4. Fasting is returning to God (from humanness to Godliness). " Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning" (Joel. 2:12)
5. Fasting is repenting of sins. " Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them." ( Neh 9:1-2)
6. Fasting is allowing God's power to work . "However, this kind (means devil possessed) does not go out except by prayer and fasting." Mat 17:21
7. Fasting is spiritual discipline to be more closer with the Lord. " So Cornelius said, "From the fourth day until this hour I was fasting, and at the ninth hour I was praying in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in shining clothing" (Act 10:30)
8. Fasting prayer is for special occasions. Act 13:2-3 Now as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them." Then, fasting and praying, and laying their hands on them, they sent them awayAct 14:23 And having chosen elders for them in every church, and having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
